  • End of rain-fed crops with satisfactory agricultural production estimates at 56% of sites
  • Reduction in the filling level of watercourses and reservoirs following the drying up of certain water points
  • Food prices generally stable but remain high at market level
  • Average availability of cereals and milk at sentinel sites
  • Increase in malnutrition admissions in October and malaria cases for September 2022
  • Good watering conditions for livestock and sufficient pasture availability at 86% of sites, promoting satisfactory animal fitness
  • Confirmed cases of Rift Valley disease and other suspected cases of vitamin deficiency and animal diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease, rabies, peste de petits ruminants (PPR), pasteurellosis, sheep pox, enterotoxemia and cowpox
