  • Increase in the price of basic foodstuffs observed in the Gao region;
  • Water resource conditions considered average to sufficient in the four regions (Koulikoro, Mopti, Gao and Timbuktu);
  • Precarious security situation affecting the mobility of breeders in the regions of Gao, Mopti and Timbuktu.

  • 4,700 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Timbuktu and 1,347 in Taoudénni
  • 60,203 people in acute food insecurity (6% of the population) in Timbuktu and 14,020 (22% of the population) in Taoudénni according to the latest report of the harmonized framework for the period from March to May 2024
