  • Biomass production in northern Côte d’Ivoire is equal to or above average, with some areas experiencing annual biomass production almost equivalent to the maximum production levels recorded over the past 25 years.
  • Overall vulnerability index ranging from neutral to positive across all departments in northern Ivory Coast
  • The security situation in the Sahel is leading to continuous flows of transhumant herders from Burkina Faso and Mali towards the main refugee reception areas in northern Ivory Coast (Bounkani and Tchologo), and is intensifying in other regions (Bagoué and Folon).
