Biomasse Biomass production analysis report for Niger in 2025 06/11/202506/11/2025 The rainy season is favorable for the development of pastoral resources on the Niger River. Overall biomass production is in excess across all pastoral areas. Animal losses following flooding caused by heavy rainfall Animal mobility is disrupted by insecurity, particularly in the regions of Tillabéri, northwestern Tahoua, southern Maradi and Diffa, compounded by recurring animal thefts. Biomasse Rapport d’analyse de production de biomasse en 2025 sur le nord de la Côte d’Ivoire 27/10/202529/10/2025 Biomass production in northern Côte d’Ivoire is equal to or above average, with some areas experiencing annual biomass production almost equivalent to the maximum production levels recorded over the past 25 years. Overall vulnerability index ranging from neutral to positive across all departments in northern Ivory Coast The security situation in the Sahel is leading to continuous flows of transhumant herders from Burkina Faso and Mali towards the main refugee reception areas in northern Ivory Coast (Bounkani and Tchologo), and is intensifying in other regions (Bagoué and Folon).
