  • Good availability of locally sourced cereals at 84% of sentinel sites, leading to a slight drop in prices for these products
  • Recording of a significant number of cases of bushfires at the sites
  • Suspected animal diseases such as: botulism, foot-and-mouth disease, peste de petits ruminants (PPR), rabies and cases of vitamin deficiency at the sites

  • Low vegetation cover in the north and west
  • Very good to good vegetation cover in the center, east and south, particularly the southwest
  • Positive vegetation cover anomalies observed in the center, east, northeast and part of the center-east
  • Negative vegetation cover anomalies located in the departments of Kanel, Ranérou, Tambacounda, Koumpentoum, Koungheul, resulting from bushfires
